Introduction
My aim for my first portfolio project was to build on my character design and modeling skills. I chose to work closely with an animator through the whole process.
The project was made in collaboration with Ella Lundqvist , working on it together has been a blast! I’ve been responsible for art and sound and Ella for the character animations.

Original concept sketches
Basil is a shopkeeper and aspiring witch in an imaginary game, providing a plethora of brewed goods and magic items. As a not yet established witch you have to keep the lights on somehow, and literature about the art of magic is expensive. Resorting to opening a small cafe in your study seems quite reasonable.
I find the idea of magic connected to everyday objects and tasks interesting, thereof the concept of a tea witch!
The whole process is done by me, from designing the original concept to rendering the final model. I enjoy learning new skills a bit more than I should… And the scale of this project has been an amazing challenge!
